Renowned  DJ's  from USA and Canada that will keep you dancing non-stop day and night!

But in addition to that, they are great dancers and fun to be around!

AVIK BASU

VARO BIAGI

BURAK ÖZKÖSEM

One of the most demanded DJ's in the USA. He hopes that the milonga will have something for everyone and that dancers will float home late, very late at night with music still playing in their heads.

Varo strives to create a musical atmosphere that inspires dancers and connects with them on the emotional level. As an avid dancer himself, Varo has a deep appreciation for the overall milonga experience of each dancer.

Burak makes time stand still, creating a vortex of buena onda that keeps everyone on their feet until they say, It's 3:30 AM? Already?

ANGEL MONTERO

TAI MARIA

For Angel  the dance floor dictates the music he plays. He tries to measure the energy of the dancers and their response to each tanda.

She plays a great selection of tango music that entices dancers to stand up from their chairs and dance.

The island of Puerto Rico is a very popular tourist destination because of its location, rich history and warm atmosphere. The island is located in the Caribbean, between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean (about 1,000 miles southeast of Miami, Florida).  Puerto Rico is a Territory of the United States of America therefore passports are not required for travel.

Old San Juan is the first city of the New World.  With its abundance of shops, historic places, museums, open air cafés, restaurants, colorful homes, tree-shaded plazas, its old beauty and architectonic peculiarity, and magnificent ocean views Old San Juan is a main spot for local and internal tourism.  Old San Juan is a walking city, and you can easily get around in a taxi or a bus, or the free tourist trolley that serves the city.

While the PRTF's classes and milongas are not in a hotel, there are plenty of great hotels within walking distance. And since the PRTF has activities all day and all night, you won't want to miss out on any of the action. Whether you are traveling from out of the Island or just outside of Old San Juan, you may want to consider staying close to all the action this weekend so you don't miss a single class or tanda! But if you are traveling with a group or you are planning to stay longer, renting an apartment is your best option.
